Commissioner Vekich Attends TPM25

Commissioner Max Vekich attended the Journal of Commerce’s TPM25 conference, held March 2-6, 2025, in Long Beach, CA. 

During his trip, Commissioner Vekich met with key executives from ocean carriers, marine terminal operating companies, non-vessel-operating common carriers, organized labor, and shipper organizations.

He also visited the Port of Long Beach’s Congressman Alan Lowenthal Global Trade and Education Center and attended a meeting of the Commission’s National Shipper Advisory Committee (NSAC) that followed the conclusion of TPM25.

Commissioner Vekich was joined by his counsel Cory Cinque. Also attending TPM25 from the Federal Maritime Commission were John Crews, Director, and Erik Cox, Deputy Director, of the Bureau of Enforcement, Investigations, and Compliance; and Mark Braganca from the Office of Consumer Affairs and Dispute Resolution Services who serves as the NSAC Designated Federal Officer.

TPM25 is an annual shipping and logistics conference organized by the Journal of Commerce that focuses on the Transpacific container trades.
